We hope you’re all as excited as we are to kick off the second installment of our Discover Solar initiative. Our community driven solar implementation program will run from August 1st – October 31st this time around, placing the focus on the towns of Farmington, New Durham, Alton, Shelburne, Gorham, Randolph, and Jefferson respectively.
Like the last go-round, we will be hosting informational sessions for each aforementioned area, which are highlighted at www.discoversolarnh.com. In these sessions we will discuss the power of going solar as well as fiscal benefits for each adopter of a residential (or commercial) solar panel solution during the Discover Solar program’s tenure.
During the first installment of the program, Discover Solar saved residents living in Strafford, Northwood, Rochester, and Barrington an average of $117 per month on their household’s electricity bills and over $65,000 in total on installation costs due to the unique financial opportunity that exists when community member’s get involved with Discover Solar NH and the benefits the program affords them.
There are similar programs that exist in the solar industry, but what sets Discover Solar NH apart from these other entities is the simple fact that the final cost bestowed on the consumer is not dependent on the total number of adopters during the program cycle. In other programs the more people that that sign up, the cheaper the final cost for everyone involved. Instead, we believe in providing most inexpensive rate possible, and transparently apply it upfront regardless of total number of adoptees. Thus you save without having to preach to your friends, family, and neighbors within your community (though we still firmly believe in “word-of-mouth,” so by all means, talk up solar if you love it! It’s good for you, and it’s good for the planet!)
We are very excited to again be working closely with communities throughout the state. This program and the workshops that are involved enable us to connect with community members on a more personable level and answer any questions or concerns they may have regarding solar. Our goal is to get New Hampshire more in tune to the benefits of going solar and utilizing sustainable, clean energy solutions on a personal and business level. The benefits of doing so are vast. Getting discussions going in communities and amongst neighbors, family, and friends is a great way to set the state on course to create more affordable, green powered energy.
We’ll see you soon!
And don’t forget: Go Solar today for a brighter tomorrow!
